A Boy & His...FROG?

Connor has a great time playing with the bath toys in the pool. On this sunny day in mid-June, he was having fun squirting himself & Mommy with a toy frog. I just love his smiles in these pictures. :)

Connor's 1st "Swim"

May 23, 2010 - Connor's 1st time in the kiddie pool in the backyard. This kid loves the pool, but absolutely hates baths - go figure. :)

Tree Planting Time!

We planted 2 new trees in our front yard on May 1st - an autumn blaze maple & a crabapple. We needed to replace the red maple & bushes that we took out last fall. Uncle Mark was kind enough to let us borrow his pickup for hauling the trees home from the nursery. We are looking forward to watching the new trees grow for many years to come.

Big Boy Bed!

We converted Connor's crib into a toddler bed at the end of April. As you can tell by the pictures, this turned into a family event! With as much as Connor likes to climb, we're quite surprised that he didn't start climbing on his crib until April. Now he's enjoying his new-found freedom, sometimes a little too much. My baby is growing up!

Brotherly Love

Like most brothers, my boys fight a lot. But every once in a great while, I'll catch them in a tender moment, like in these pictures from the end of April. I firmly believe that my sons love each other, even though they don't usually show it. I wouldn't trade either of them for anything in this world. They're my sons, and I love them dearly - even if they fight with each other constantly. :)

Young Artist

Ok, I'll be the first to admit that I'm a bit behind on my blogging. :) Let's see if I can do some catching up here over the long holiday weekend, especially if tomorrow turns out to be rainy, like they're currently predicting. Happy 4th of July, everyone!

Twins Game

Dave & Matthew went to a Twins game back in mid-April. Dave had won the tickets at work. They said Target Field is AWESOME! Dave said that television doesn't do it justice ~ it's something every Twins fan should see in person. Dave & Matthew are standing in front of a Harmon Killebrew display in the bottom picture. There is a lot of Target Field that they didn't see yet (like the statues outside of the ballpark), so we're hoping to maybe get back there later this summer.
