Fun in the Sand

There is a large sand area at the Colvill Pool for the kids to play in. Matthew & Connor both had a lot of fun! Connor really isn't a fan of the water yet, so the sand area was perfect for him. Matthew played in the sand while they were on a safety break at the pool. It's wonderful to have such great places for kids to play right here in town! :)

4th of July

We had a busy, yet fun, Independence Day. We started the day at the McNamara family picnic at Rosie's Park in Goodhue. The food was very, very good, as usual. :) And we got to see some extended family members that we hadn't seen since last year. And Matthew & I spent some time in the pool. The water was a bit cold that day, but we had fun anyway.

After the picnic, we went to Uncle Mark's for a bit. He showed us his new computer, and how he has it hooked up to his television. It was really cool, and it is a really nice setup for a single person. We also enjoyed some Casey's Pizza while we were there.

When we got home, Connor was pretty tired, so he went to bed. Dave & I set off some firecrackers for Matthew to enjoy in the backyard. He had a blast!

Cannon Valley Fair

We went to the Cannon Valley Fair on Friday afternoon. The boys had a great time! We saw all of the animals, and we went on a few carnival rides. Connor went on the Carousel with me once, but that is the only ride he went on. He's still a little young to really get into it. Matthew sat on a tractor, went on a pony ride, and rode a few rides. We enjoyed some mini donuts too. As you can tell, it pooped Connor right out ~ he slept on the way home. :)

Father's Day

Mom, Dad, & Mark came to our house to celebrate Father's Day. We were hoping to take the kids to the park after lunch, but the weather just wasn't cooperating. We did go out in the backyard between showers, though. We also played Sorry & some other indoor games. I think everyone had a good time.

Adorable 19-Month-Old

I just HAD to share this picture ~ I think it's SO cute! :) Connor reminds me so much of his Uncle Mark ~ they have a lot of the same facial features, in my opinion. And just look at all of those teeth!!!
