Hmmm...What's This?

Connor took interest in the film on the windows this week. He is our little explorer! I thought the picture where he sees his reflection was pretty neat. After we were done with our "mini photo shoot", I pulled Connor away from the window so that he wouldn't poke holes in the film. We are trying to keep the cold out, after all!

Bowling

We went bowling as a family last Saturday afternoon. We had a blast! Dave & I have gotten really rusty on our bowling skills - you wouldn't know that we were members of a bowling league before Matthew was born. :) Anyway, we just paid for an hour, and I was just starting to warm up in our second game, when our time ran out. Oh, well. We had a good time together, and that's all that really matters. :)

Ginger

Here is a picture of our dog, Ginger. She will be 3 years old at the end of February. Pretty, isn't she? She's not the brightest dog on the block, but she's great with the boys, and they have a lot of fun with her.

Molars

Connor has molars! He already has at least 3, maybe 4 of them! The weird thing is that his molars came in before his eye teeth. I spotted the first one during the holidays. Goofy boy! He sure keeps us on our toes!

Scrapbooking

I actually spent some time scrapbooking this weekend! My focus was on Matthew's scrapbook, as I was the most behind on that one. I started a new book for him, which begins in Winter 2008, so I was about a year behind. Not anymore! I have some pages that I need to finish embelishing, but I left off at Christmas 2008! Yay! I feel like I got a lot accomplished, and yet, my house still needs a major cleaning! Maybe next weekend...

Matthew's Haircut

Matthew decided to give himself a haircut last night. He cut it so short on top that the barber had no choice but to shave it all off. He now has a very short buzz cut that looks kind of silly on a fair-skinned, blonde-haired little boy, but he looked even more ridiculous with his cut. Oh, well. It will make a good scrapbook page one day, and his beautiful blonde hair will eventually grow back.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! Dave & I brought in the new year by having a date night. We went out to Perkins for supper, and we went to see "Marley & Me" at the movie theater. It was nice to have some time alone together. Matthew & Connor spent some extra time with their Grandpa & Grandma Steffenhagen. After the movie, we went to pick up the boys, and Dave & I enjoyed some wine coolers at home. I actually made it past midnight, which just amazes me, as I got up at 5:00 on New Year's Eve morning. I was in bed shortly thereafter, though.
